Christmas Eve

Do we look like we're ready for Santa?

Following the family service at church, Jill had us over for dinner.

The Philipp family is looking good!

Cousins look ready for the big day!

Lucy has some fun with the Santa hat.

And Caroline and Leah have fun singing Jingle Bells.

Lucy has fun 'talking' to Hannah.

And I found a few more ornaments I could photograph.

And we found our favorite Christmas house all decked out in lights. It's tradition to swing by on the way home to see the display. Caroline loved it. We only had to circle back past it 4 times! The excitement is in the air! It was a great day!

Christmas Cheer

What could be cuter than two little ones reading under the Christmas tree?

I thought they looked too cute in their matching duds, so a mini photo shoot was born.

It looks like they discovered the presents behind them!

Two sweet sisters...

Getting ready for the big day!

Love.

Hope your holidays were merry! Ours were!

Game Night

Look at this adorable group of girls! I'd say we sure make some cute ones, wouldn't you?

It is tradition to have the Weller and Gilbert families over during the holiday season..I guess we can say that since this is year two!

Caroline loved all the extra playmates, and even borrowed some reindeer slippers for the night.

JoAnn spoils our Lucy bug.

And even though this looks like a group of really bored people checking their phones, we had many laughs with our game night.

And the ladies remain the Catch Phrase champs! A good time was had by all...can't wait to do it again. Perhaps we won't wait a year this time.

Peeking at my sister..

It's a fun game we like to play around here and it goes a little something like this...

Wishing you Joy, Peace & Love. Merry Christmas, everyone! More wonderful pics in the days ahead. Enjoy your loved ones and snuggle up!

Lucy Love

Still playing with that camera lens after bath tonight. Love these sweet images.

Harsh flash sure changes the lighting, but love those eyelashes and teeth.

And someone. is. done.

Nighty - night.

A Girl on the Move!

Stopping only momentarily to 'taste' the buckle on the high chair...

Looks at Mommy to make her famous "aah aah aah" sound.

Decides she's on a roll...
Ooh, fun finds everywhere I look!

Check out that form! I swear this girls gonna 'lift off' any day now, and take off crawling. Gonna be soon...I can see it coming!

More Lens Fun

Well the amateur in me couldn't wait to test out my second new lens!

The zoom lens was a used one I found really cheap locally, and this one is a prime lens. My first biggie purchase to add to my camera package! It actually is a result of a giftcard given to me by my class this year - pretty awesome, huh?

This lens will focus on one part of the image and allows the rest to fade into the background, giving it that blurry look. I know that's hardly a technical term, but it's what makes sense to me. Something about a short depth of field, I think. Eh?

It's going to take some practice, but so far, I like what I see.

Wendy's clan was hanging out today so I used them as my guinea pigs. They stand still so much better than two year olds!

Are you tired of seeing my holiday ornaments yet?

The weather could have helped by pouring a little more daylight in the windows, but we do live in Ohio. I managed to get a few good ones of Wendy's kiddos, but after nap, these two weren't really up for it. More pics to come in the next two weeks, I'm sure. With my time off, I have to have something to do, right?
