Hotel Play

 Two giggly, goofy, sand-covered, weary girls!

 Umm..that looks a little more like a chokehold, Caroline!

 Lucy's new favorite toy.   Open. Shut. Open. Shut. Open, pull everything out. Shut.  You get the idea.

 And this is what she did before we got out of the parking lot of the hotel on Day 2 - she had a bit of a rough first night.

Modeling our new favorite ride.  The elevator ranks right up there as a new fun ride as well.  Good times.

Beaching it at St. Joe!

 We love the western shores of Michigan, and a 5 hour drive is doable with two, so a vacation was born!

 Caroline was all about digging in the sand.

 And Lucy gets her first taste of the Splash pad.

 She LOVED it. Fearless.

 And Caroilne thought it was pretty awesome as well. 

First vacation stop was a success. We'll be back again soon, St. Joe.

Bubbles!

 After Lucy went down for the night, Caroline and I had some fun outside.

 While Daddy's away, the girls do play!

 She loves to blow bubbles as much as she loves trying to catch them.

 And I loved this expression so much, I had to post it at full size.  What do you suppose she's up to?

 I love how focused she is.

St. Brendan Family Picnic

Is this the cheesiest face ever? 

Lucy had tons of fun at the family picnic with Sandy.

..and the cornhole boards!  Peeking through the hole!

Walking on top of them was fun, too!  She has such good balance.

Hey, Daddy - Lucy looked right at me and said "ba ball".  Guess she's trained already!

Playing dolls with Sofia was fun, too!

 Rick mans the grill while the teachers relax on their last day!

And Caroline was just thrilled to run around with the other kiddos.  It was a great time, and the start of a new tradition for our faculty.  Yay, Summer is finally here!

Playhouse!

This is Caroline's face as she discovers there's a new playhouse sitting outside waiting for her!  She's telling me, "Let's Go, Mommy!"  She could hardly wait to get out there and play!

Now this is one happy camper!

The playhouse arrived while she was sleeping, so it was a total surprise, and it was two hours of giggly girly fun runing from door to door!

Lucy was just the perfect height for peeking out the windows, too!

I'm pretty sure this will provide hours of entertainment for us this summer!

And it didn't take long for word of the newest toy on the block to spread!

It's official...we have the party house now!  I love yard sale season!
