Top of the morning!

It's just a random Sunday morning at our house.  This is what I see- Lucy, diaper only, sitting on a box, wearing a hat, watching cartoons.  Yep.  Love that girl.  She sure does make me smile.

Random Cell phone pics

Here's Lucy modeling her pony tail - and apparently giving us a cheesy grin while standing in the door to the fridge.

Can you see the stubborn determination coming through in these pics?  Yep, that's Lucy!
She really was quite over the whole "pictures of my ponytail" idea and was more about getting into things.
And how about this?  Two too-tired girls after a long day at church!

Here's the stubborn one again- helping me load groceries in to the van....she was supposed to be getting in her car seat - but she much prefers hiding in the back where mommy can't get to her.  Grrrr...
But she and her big sister can sure snuggle!

Don't you plop down at the end of your driveway and eat popcorn, too?
Or get into Daddy's closet and steal hats and shoes?
And finally - a little fun at a football game!  We had to go hear Daddy do the announcing at his alma mater- and look who the opponent was!  Cousins cheering on Dublin!  The cheerleaders sure were a hit with these two!  I think they look like two sets of twins - born 14 years apart!  :)  It was fun to see family from the sidelines!

Piggy tails!

It's Sunday!  I think it's a great day for pig tails, don't you?
I'm not ready for this little cutie to grow up.  But she sure looks cute with her hair pulled up!
Not sure what we were doing here -but I do know Lucy was showing off her piggy tails.
And then Monkey See, Monkey Do...things began to get a little goofy!   I love how Caroline watches Lucy here...
And Lucy watches Caroline here.  That's how things work around here.
Silly, silly sisters!
Ta Da!

Handwriting Practice!

Well, let me start by saying that I promise NOT to do a blog post about every future assignment, class project, homework, etc.
But look how proud this little girl is of her accomplishment!  She is doing great!

Look at that concentration!
Look at that face!  How can I NOT share this on the blog?  We're proud too!  She is loving preschool and soaking up every minute.  Can't believe this little bundle of fun is almost 4!
Well do you have snack and do homework after your bath too?  It's been fun watching her excitement blossom with all of her new knowledge.  Thanks for the homework, Miss Frisch.  It's a hit!

Halloween Preview

So have I mentioned that our neighbor loves our girls?
Melissa loves spoiling them since she didn't have any nieces to spoil.
And she came by last week with new costumes for the girls!

Strawberry shortcake was inspired by Melissa's own collection of Strawberry Shortcake toys.  Caroline had a ball playing with them one day, so Melissa went on a hunt to find some for Caroline to play with.  This is just too cute, and the hot pink hair is a hoot.
And what could be better than our Lucy bug as a lady bug?  She looked adorable in all these tutu layers!
I can hardly wait for Halloween now!
Bring on the trick or treat -
We are ready!
Thanks, Melissa!  You're the BEST!

Art project!

Cutest scarecrow ever!

Caroline had her first preschool homework due this week - crafting a scarecrow!
She had a ball!
How do you think we did?

I dressed myself

Someone insisted on wearing her Minnie Mouse pajamas the other morning.
I guess it didn't seem to bother her that she already had something on.

Very content indeed.   She stayed like this for a few hours until she decided she'd like to take them off.  Goof. Ball.
