Daddy time!

These little munchkins sure do love snuggle time with their daddy - note this pic taken at two different times.  They always find time to cuddle up and read with Daddy.

--these posts took me forever - Blogger is not my best friend right now.  I guess I reached my quota on pictures, so I had to find another solution.  Picasa helped get this batch on, but I may have to find a new site for my sweet little blog to call home.  Sure hoping Blogger can make it easier than it was today. Fingers crossed.  I love being able to document life for my girls, but not at the expense of losing time with them.  Stay tuned.

Go Bucks!

It's OSU-Michigan game day!
And we got all decked out in our duds, so...
O-H,   I-O!

NIght night

Our Lucy should have been a Linus, because she carries her red blanket around everywhere.  And when she finds a spot to lay down, she tells us "nigh nigh".  I would prefer that she not make a bed out of the curtains, but that seems to be a favorite spot.
Peek!
Yes, I'm still watching you!
Zzzzzz-zzzzz!

Holiday Helpers

Ho ho ho, the season is here!  I had a couple of helpers assist me with my decorating this year.

I'm not sure how much they 'helped', but they're still pretty cute.

The snowglobe was a huge hit.  The girls sat and played with this for hours.
And one of my other snowglobes became the only casualty of the day so far.  All in all, the decorations went up and it was relatively stress free. And the tree is still standing, so I'd say we're doing great!

Giving Thanks

We have much to be thankful for- a feast, family, and lots of fun.  It was a great day to spend time with loved ones.
Caroline hangs out at the boys table.
Playing with cousins is always fun.
Pilgrim Lucy?
Wendy and Jill get an early holiday gift that was filled with emotions!
Hannah entertains the girls.
Giggly upside down girls!
And this is Lucy's favorite spot to perch - laying on the floor between my legs.
A bit belated, but we celebrated Evan's jump into teenage years.
Look at the vultures, hovering over the desserts.
Three desserts and proud of it.  This Jazzercise queen has already worked it off.  Here's hoping your holiday was filled with much love and laughter, too!

It's a Sock Hop!

 Let's Hokey Pokey!
 And Twist!

My school is celebrating it's 50th anniversary, so we decided it might be fun to attend their Sock Hop.  When I told Caroline it was time to go home, she asked if we could come back tomorrow.  I'm guessing that means she had a good time.  Both girls enjoyed the props from the photo booth - dress up is so much fun!  Let's boogie!

Lovin' Daddy

This little smiley girl is finally happy now because she can sit and watch her Daddy mow.  Every time he made a pass with the mower where he went out of Lucy's sight, she cried.  So, I found a window where she could see him, and propped her up to stay for a spell.  Now I can finally get something done.  Sigh.  It is pretty cute - just not when you're in the middle of it!

I used to like my neighbors...

...and then they go and do something like this!  Gaah.  I'll never be able to keep up with their super-duper themed birthday parties-complete with inflatables.  Overachievers.  They are officially never invited to one of my parties, where we will be admiring my handful of balloons, gifts thrown into giftbags,  and my Kroger cake.  Pish.  He's only five.  I hate them.

Say it isn't so!!!!!!!!!

Okay, I'm a little behind in my blog-I know! Life has been extra busy these days with grade cards and conferencing, and working full time, and taking care of two little ones.  There are pics coming soon - I promise. Here's a quick one from tonight.  This is what happened when I took the cookies away from the dinner table to be put away.  Huge crocodile tears.  I guess life is rough when you're 19 months.  Yep.  She was dumbfounded that I grabbed the camera rather than rush to help her.  I'm all heart, kid!  Now eat your veggies - then we'll talk cookies!
