ONE YEAR OLD!

Is it really here??

It goes. so. fast. Here's our girl at her recent 12 month photo shoot. I can't believe it myself.

At 12 months she is so much fun - crawling everywhere, pulling up on things, clapping those hands, blowing kisses, waving bye, and lighting up when she sees anyone she knows. She giggles like crazy at her big sister, and loves to be tickled. She wiggles and dances to music when she hears it, and hates it when Mommy leaves the room. It seems like this was just yesterday. We love you, Lucy Bug! Happy, Happy one year old!

Spring Fun with Family

I have no idea why Blogger is struggling to upload my pics correctly these days. I am hoping they get the kinks worked out soon so I don't have this weird spacing going on. I'm certain it's not user error. Anyhoo...we spent a lovely evening with family celebrating some birthdays and playing outside.

Lucy enjoyed her first swing ride outside and Caroline enjoyed being spoiled by her big cousins. All in all, it was a great day!

The Newest Fashion Statement

Chalk Shoes...apparently they're the latest rage. Simply strike up a phone conversation and divert your attention from the nearest toddler for approximately ten minutes, and you can have yourself a pair, too! They coordinate well with the ever-fashionable chalk socks as well. Jealous, aren't you!

A Stroller Built for Two!

It was the perfect evening to take a stroll, so that's exactly what we did. Lucy grinned with glee the entire time-she loved being next to her big sis. And Caroline did her big sisterly duty by hollering every time Lucy went to pull her socks off. And Lucy practiced her new wave trick by waving at the neighbors. Loving this Spring weather in Ohio this year.

Outside Play!

Vrrrooom, Vrrroom! Someone has a new trike to ride.

She checks it out and decides it passes inspection.

It was a warm Spring -like day so we decided to take it for a test drive.

Lucy was more concerned with what the neighbors were up to.

Love this ornery grin.

As the wind blew we added more gear to keep us warm, and we decided that drawing with chalk was equally fun.

I wanna go back out and play out there again, Mommy! Bring on Spring!
