18 months

I love this kid! I can't believe she's already hit 18 months.

In honor of her milestone, I'm going to share 18 things I love about her.

Here goes:

1. Your laugh is infectious! Every time you chuckle, you usually have the whole room laughing with you.

2. You LOVE music. Anytime you hear it, you can't help but wiggle.

3. You LOVE being the center of attention- hmmm...perhaps you have stumbled upon this one naturally because you usually ARE the center of attention.

4. You tell everyone hi and bye- strangers, family, and friends all receive the same warm greeting with a smile.

5. Your hair sometimes falls in your eyes, and you're quick to stop and use your hands to brush it off your face. Who taught you that? Smart kid!

6. Every time you put a sack/purse/tote over your arm you promptly tell us bye-bye and you walk away as if you're off to go shopping.

7. Whenever your mommy or daddy get ready to leave the room, you tell us "be right back", so you know that we're only going to be gone a moment.

8. You love your new baby sister and ask about her whenever you see mommy alone.

9. When you're tired, you know it. You tell every toy and person night-night and start heading towards your crib.

10. You LOVE to play chase with your Daddy- and giggle and look back to see that he's still following you the entire time.

11. We can't put much past you. You are smart enough to know if something is different, hidden, or out of the ordinary and you figure it out anyway.

12. You love your books and could spend hours just sitting among the books looking at all the pages.

13. You count! You'll take your cheerios(uh-ohs), toys, anything and you'll start counting them. You don't know all your numbers yet, but you certainly try to say nonsensical words in a rhythm as if you're really counting.

14. For some reason you love the dog- you're always sharing your food, following her, trying to hug her or take her toys to her.

15. Speaking of hugs- you love them. You always offer a hug and kiss or blow a kiss to anyone you can as we part ways...oh,and you are also happy to show off your 'flirty' eyes!

16. When you want held, you hold your arms way out and say 'up'. You even do this to complete strangers if you think it will get you where you want to go. You're VERY social. Wonder where you get that? ;)

17. You are ORNERY! You amaze me daily how your little mind works...and I think we'll be paying for your zest and fearlessness for years to come.

18. You will say please to get your way. You used to whine when you wanted something, and now you know that you must say please first. But it also helps that you cock your head to the side, smile and say 'peez'. And sometimes when you just want mommy, you'll say "Mommy, peez". Melts my heart. Every. Time.

You're growing way too fast kiddo! And I can't think of an eighteen month old who is more loved.
