Here we are! It was a gorgeous cool summer day - perfect for heading to the state fair.
Rick and I hadn't personally been to the fair in years, so it was a treat for us too!
We made new friends,
Saw the train replica,
Met a horse!
Saw some sheep!
Got frightened by the cows,
Saw them made of butter,
Ate some ice cream at the dairy barn,
Met a five- day-old calf. (Doesn't that look like Ohio on its forehead?)
Rode the merry-go-round,
And rode the train!
We saw the state fair band and the Marysville Marching Band while we were there. We also took in the parade. It was a great family day together. The girls loved seeing the livestock and did great considering they gave up their naps. We can't wait to go back next year.
