We took a little jaunt to a local park recently - on a hunt for some hedge apples.
And we found a few!
We are blessed with parks that have a paved trail - so it's perfect for a fall outing!
Look! - they spotted them on the ground just ahead! Such excitement in the find!
Daddy was our 'apple collector!'
We had to choose wisely - the squirrels had already eaten a few.
Since we don't have too many trees near us - it was fun to throw a few leaves before we left!
What a great fall night at the park! And our hedge apples made for some fun fall decorations once we got home!
