We drove home through Ft. Wayne, and gave a quick call to my dearest friend from grade school, Laura.
She and Greg and Kyle welcomed us with open arms. We all needed the stretch break, and it was great to catch up a bit.

And she even had one for Greg! It was a quick drop-in visit, and we totally made ourselves at home, but it was probably one of my favorite stops of the whole trip! I loved seeing them and it may become a traditional stop from now on. We must get together more often- we hadn't seen them since our wedding! Thank you, Ft. Wayne family! Sorry we were weary, grubby, cranky, hungry, and in need of diaper changes. You couldn't have made us feel better about arriving! Now get back to Ohio to see us soon, okay?
